  • We were at a friends house when we experience this bot for the first time and was impressed on how well it did on tile. We have laminate floors and was initially skeptical on how well it will do and if there would be any risk with water leaking into the laminate. It's been ran 4-5 times through the entire house and it has been impressive. The mop liquid attachment drops water at a slow rate so not to saturate the floor but enough that when done, it feels like a regular mop went through the area. Note it will not mop away sticky or dry areas but it does well to make the floors clean to barefeet. The bot has some weight to it but it helps to apply pressure as it mops away but not heavy to lift. Its not like a botvac that self docks because of how it is placed on the charger but it definitely satisfies the level of cleanliness desired.

  • This is a nice little robot helper, I can't say it's better than manual mopping but it is good for daily cleaning. Saves me time. Just do a thorough manual mopping once in a while.

Does Braava really works?

Yes! The Braava does a good job in cleaning dirts, grimes, etc on the floor.

But there is a caveat, which is the Braava is only capable of cleaning a limited floor area (400-1000sqft)

And there is no Recharge & Resume, and also scheduling.

The reason why the Braava does not schedule or recharge & resume is because it's a dedicated mopping robot. And such limitation occurs as it requires water to get the job done.

Nevertheless, I would say Braava is the only mopping robot available in the market that does mopping correctly.

Not a single 2-in-1 robot vacuum sold outside is able to match with Braava.
